Mr. Lawrence Mashindano

Lawrence Tajji Mashindano a trainer at VETA (Vocational Education Training Authority in Tanzania), he is a qualified and experienced educator. It is clear that in technical studies, women and girls are not given priority. As an educator, Mr. Lawrence gives girls a chance by educating them on factory machines and even in car mechanics. As the AGH board chairman, Mr. Lawrence uses his experience as an educator at VETA, he empower girls and women in mechanics skills in so doing he gives them agency, voice and power to bringing about community power balance. He continues to be an advocate in issues of gender by giving women a chance to be skilled workers and role-models in professionals which are considered to be masculinity. Mr. Lawrence believes early investment in human brings equality and well developed society.
