Zawadi Lyimo

Zawadi has a background in accounts and finance, she completed her Bachelor degree of Commerce from University of Dar es Salaam in 2011 and later received a CPA from NBAA in 2013.

Her work experience has mainly focused on financial compliance and auditing; she has held a position of banking and finance officer for over 7 years at Azania Bank PLC at its Dar es Salaam and Mwanza offices before joining private firms of EKOA Construction Company and Insight tax consultancy where she retained positions of accounting officer and internal auditor respectively.

Zawadi strongly believes in building robust financial structures and systems – attributes she thinks contribute to institution’s capacity to maximize funds use with good value for money in all outcomes. Her work at AGH which commenced in 2022, is really focused on these attributes and she is happy with her contribution in AGH team so far.
